Prototyping has been about trying to find simple, contained ideas that I could take from Start to Something, ideally Finish, in an okay-ish amount of time and effort. So far almost every concept I've tried or thought about has been something that could be small in scope, but always has that feature-creep grasp of "but a few extra levels ...", "just a few more enemy types would be so ..." etc.

This one feels different. Like it's actually just A Thing, and I can execute it and it will be The Thing?
